Adherent to the principles of classical dressage, Dawna is a student of Katie Thompson. Ms. Thompson is a Grand Prix rider and trainer, who has earned her USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold medals. Among her accomplishments, she won 1988 CDS HOY 2nd Level, 1990 CDS HOY Prix St. George, and was long-listed by the United States Equestrian Team at Grand Prix with two horses. She has studied with Robert Dover, Guenter Seidel, Klaus Balkenhol, Kathleen Raine, and Neil & Cindy Ishoy. A prominent instructor, Ms. Thompson has coached students who are successful in competition from Training Level through Grand Prix.
